About Inspire Internship Programme

Sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), “Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)” is a novel programme that attracts talent to innovation and research in science. The five-day INSPIRE internship programme aims to communicate to young minds the excitement of creative pursuit of science anddraw talent to the study of science at an early age.The objective is to build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science and Technology system and Research and Development base.
Inaugural Ceremony
The 6th INSPIRE Internship Programme was inaugurated on 17 January 2018 at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Unnao. This was the 17th INSPIRE Internship Camp of SRMS Engineering Institutions at Bareilly and Lucknow.
The programme started with students presenting bouquet to the dignitaries, followed by lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana. The chief guest was Shri Dev Murti JI(Chairman, SRMS Trust). Other dignitaries included Mr. Shyamal Gupta (Director), Dr. Anant Kumar Srivastava (Principal), Mr. Sahreen Hijab (Dean), and Dr. Prabhakar Gupta (Dean, Academics). Led by INSPIRE Coordinators Mr. Rateesh Agarwal and Mr. Sachin Agarwal, the programme was attended by faculty members and 150 students from leading colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The students participating in the programme will undergotraining while staying at the institute.
Welcoming students, teachers, and parents, Mr. Dev Murti observed how this programme will help students achieve success and guide them towards attaining their goals. While Mr. Rateesh Agarwal welcomed the students and guests, Mr. Sachin Agarwal presented the basic idea of the programme. Dr. Anant Kumar Srivastava encouraged students to become future researchers and realize their aspirations.
