From a young developer to State & National Level achiever, Prashant Bhalla, a third-year B Tech (CS) student of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly, has set the tech world on fire with his impressive skills in competitive programming and web development. Prashant has achieved several accolades that speak volumes of his tech abilities. On attaining this meticulous fete, Prashant speaks of his journey of incredible achievement, aim in life & lot more.
MASTERING THE ART OF PROGRAMMING
Prashant's skill set includes the knowledge of C++, Web Development, Nodejs, React.js, DSA, Problem Solving, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Competitive Programming and Mongodb. Some of his achievements include 4-Star Coder on CODECHEF & 6-Star Coder on Hackerrank; State Level winner in GAMES OF CODE;1st Rank holder in college on GeeksForGeeks (GFG) Coding platform with 600+ data structures & algorithms coding problems solved; 136th Rank holder in TCS Codevita Season 10—world’s largest competitive programming competition; 1st position holder in C-Experts at National Level Technical Fest, TECHVYOM etc.
MILESTONES ACHIEVED
Owing incredible web skills, Prashant has been certified with Web Development Bootcamp 2021 on Udemy, along with Problem Solving (Intermediate) as well as React (Basic) on HackerRank. All this led to his appointment at Codify Apps Private Limited—a software product-based start-up in Punjab, where he worked on React.js as a Frontend Developer. Sharing details, he says, “I worked on several challenging personal projects, wherein the contribution of my faculty and institution—SRMS CET, is unwavering. I developed an E-Commerce Website to get household products using cutting-edge technologies like Node.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, JS, stripe.js, express.js, and ES6. Using same technology,I also created a website called Math-Quiz Game. Being a fitness freak, I built a website for fitness lovers using HTML, CSS, JS & Jquery technology with animations & GUI, gym products, important exercises.”
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Prashant, a recipient of full-time Fee-Waiver Scholarship in college based on UPSEE Rank, adds, “My aim is to be a Software Developer by cracking the Microsoft Technical Interview. I sincerely owe my success to faculty members of SRMS CET, Bareilly, whose mentorship played a crucial role in shaping me into a young web developer.”
