Engineer’s Day celebrated at SRMS CET, Bareilly

“Engineers bring life to the impossible”. 54th Engineer’s Day was celebrated by SRMS CET, Bareilly to commemorate the birth anniversary of the greatest Indian Engineer, Sir M. Visvesvaraya which was organized by the Tyro Club.

The program commenced with lamp lighting ceremony, accompanied by Saraswati Vandana. Plant saplings were presented to the guests, Chairman, Sir Dev Murti and Trust Secretary, Sir Aditya Murti. Tyro president, Ms. Shivangi Shukla delivered a speech, followed by the enlightening words of Dean Academics, Dr. Prabhakar Gupta. Thereupon, Dr. Ritu Singh, Principal of CETR laid emphasis on how Engineers can contribute to make this earth a healthy planet.

Sir Aditya Murti inspired the students to adopt the new normal during this pandemic and also pitched his idea of making portable oxygen concentrators to contribute to the needful.

Further, Sir Dev Murti elucidated how to take covid as an opportunity, not an excuse and create history. He also threw light on the importance of crucial years of student’s life and if utilized properly can make their future now and turn their dreams tomorrow’s reality. The event ended with the vote of thanks by Tyro Secretary, followed by the national anthem.
