The visit started with a brief introduction of the workshop at basic training center. Mr. Shiv Kumar, chief instructor of basic training center regulated the whole visit. In the beginning, the query related to the braking system in railways was answered with a demonstration. After this, Students visited total 18 workshops out of 27 workshops which were related to mechanical stream. The students learnt all the techniques related to computer-aided manufacturing, refrigeration, material handling, and chemical engineering field and other overhauling processes.

- Different Carriages and Wagons
- Inspection of the whole system
- Wheel testing and machining
- Toilet Discharge system

- Lightening system in trains.
