This industrial visit started with a brief introduction of the workshop at basic training center. Faculty members regulated the whole visit. In the beginning, the query related to braking system in railways was answered with a demonstration. After this, Students visited total 18 workshops which were related to mechanical stream. The students learnt all the techniques related to Computer Aided Manufacturing, Air-conditioning, Material handling, Physical, Mechanical and chemical properties of materials used in locomotives.
