The Faculty of Management Science (FMS) at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly held an Inter-Department Case Study Competition on 8th march 2017 titled “Samiksha”. The theme of the competition was ‘Break out of your shell’. The competition was held to encourage participants to exercise their skills and knowledge on real world cases.
The event was inaugurated with the ceremonial lamp lighting in the presence of Mrs. Richa Murti, Dr. Anant Kumar Srivastava (Principal SRMS CETR, Bareilly), Dr. Mamta Gaur (HoD, MBA Department, SRMS CET, Bareilly).
A total of 60 teams participated in the event and the evaluation was done on the basis of solutions provided by participants for the problem presented in the case.
The team comprising of Divyanshi Goel, Sonai Ganguly, and Kopal Agarwal with their solution on ‘Launching high-end technology products – A Samsung Case Study’ won the first prize. The team comprising of Divya Singh, Megha Agarwal, and Shaloo with their solution on ‘Leading the digital revolution through innovation – A Sony Case Study’ won second prize while third prize was won by the team comprising of Anshul Rai, Shaylendra Gupta, and Yash Shankar whose case study was ‘Progress with e-commerce – A Microsoft Case Study’.
First,Second and Third prize winners were awarded with Trophies and certificates at the end of the competition.
