Shubham Sharma, a third year BTech (EN) student of SRMS College of Engineering and Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly takes the world by storm with his ground-breaking speaking skills. From a novice in public speaking to a reigning State Champion of Debate in AKTU, his success journey has been amazing and an inspiring winning streak. On setting the bar in public speaking, Shubham sheds light on his way to glory, achievements & lot more.

MASTERING THE ART OF PERSUASION
Shubham’s domain of excellence lies in debates, technical presentations, speech competitions etc, which he has acquired from SRMS Engineering College that gave him a platform to unlock his potential in speaking. Having a good command in English speaking, writing, verbal and non-verbal communication, Shubham has several accolades to his credit that includes State Level Winner in Debate at AKTU in 2023; 1 st place in Zonal level Debate and Declamation in AKTU; 1 st place in Inter College Debate by Post Graduate Forum SRMS CET; 3 rd position in Tech Talk organised by Institution of Engineers India; 1 st position in Coffee Klatch in Tech- अभियांत्रिकी 2023 held at SRMS CET; Finalist in Online Debate IIT Madras; City Rank-1 & International Rank-514 in International English Olympiad by British Council & so on.

With unwavering dedication & consistency in his voluble skills, Shubham has made a mark in the field of oration. Speaking about his journey & the art of eloquence, Shubham, who aspires to be a pilot in the Indian Air Force, says, “I owe this success to my parents, teachers, friends, and SRMS college. I have been a consistent debater since seventh standard. From the very first-year in SRMS college, I have been participating in various seminars, sessions as an extempore orator. On the way, I also got an opportunity to participate in online debates organised by IIT Jammu, Madras & Symbiosis Law School, Pune that helped me to improve and compete against the best, which reshaped my personality to a larger extent.”
