The Faculty Development Programme(FDP) of Mechanical Engineering Department of SRMSCET Unnao on “Advancements in Manufacturing Technologies: Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics” started on 26th June, 2018 at 10:00 with lighting of lamp by Dr Anant Srivastava, Principal and some senior faculty members followed by introduction of all faculty members of the college and participants from other colleges. It has created a comfortable environment for the Nine newly joined faculty members also. It was mainly intended to be familiar with the expertise of faculty members who would be working on interdisciplinary projects and creating a framework for the learning through this FDP.
It was followed by one and half hour talk by Dr Anant Srivastava, Principal, SRMSCET Unnao on “Curriculum Development and Pedagogy in the Changing Scenarios of Engineering Education”.
After lunch, Professor S. P Tewari from Indian Institute of Technology, BHU started the session on “Advance Welding Technique”. The session was full of learning for the faculty members. The learned resource person explained the concepts with help of PPT and videos also.
