SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly <\/strong>have scored an applauding & groundbreaking milestone in the field of Orthopedic Surgery<\/strong> by successfully performing First-ever ROBOTIC KNEE SURGERY (Knee Transplant)<\/strong> in our region, which is a game-changer in the world of Orthopedics. It was a history in the making as Orthopedic team of doctors <\/strong>at SRMS Hospital Bareilly<\/strong> flawlessly carried out a live demonstration <\/strong>of a Robotic Knee Transplant<\/strong> with their remarkable expertise & precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This historic feat was achieved during a 2-day SRMS Cadaveric Arthroplasty Course<\/strong> held at SRMS IMS <\/strong>recently that was organized by Department of Orthopedics, SRMS IMS<\/strong> in association with Uttar Pradesh Orthopedic Association (UPOA).<\/strong>
Dr Dhruv Goel, Assistant Professor at Department of Orthopedics, SRMS IMS<\/strong> assisted Dr Akshay Chandel,<\/strong> Consultant, Orthopedics & Joint Replacement, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Patparganj in the surgery. The very next day, team of SRMS IMS orthopedic surgeons, Dr Apser Khan ,<\/strong>Professor ; Dr Dhruv Goel & Dr Rahul Verma,<\/strong> Assistant Professor successfully performed three consecutive Robotic Knee surgeries under the able guidance of Dr Sanjay Gupta<\/strong> , Professor & Head , Orthopedics, SRMS IMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
