Eyes are the windows of the soul and these are the most precious gift. Many sight-threatening diseases can be cured or prevented by taking measures with the help of regular eye test. Keeping this in mind, on the occasion of children’s’ day- 14th Nov. 2017, the I-Volunteer Club ‘Akshat’ of SRMS International Business School, Lucknow in collaboration with ABC Chasmewala, Lucknow and Round Table India (Lucknow Mavericks Round Table 255) took an initiative for the free eye test camp for the under privileged children of Round Table India Ladies Circle India SRMS School, Unnao.
The objective of this camp was to spread awareness on eye disorders and their early detection among school children who mainly belong to underprivileged communities. Also, all the 250 students of the school were screened for the spectacle number correction and the students were provided with free spectacles. The entire project was sponsored by Tr. Yogesh Mulwani, ABC Chasmewala and Round Table India. We would like to thank them for their immense contribution.
