I-Volunteer club creates awareness amongst students through several initiatives that help them see the bigger picture. Being a part of the hand washing campaign, especially on the poignant moment of the Republic Day was a huge learning experience for students who were involved.

Right at the onset the volunteers made it clear to the audience that effective hand washing can keep them away from sickness and diseases.

They offered the audience paper soap stripes and liquid hand wash, which are useful tools in keeping their hands germ free. The volunteers then demonstrated how to wash one’s hands properly with the use of liquid hand wash and paper soap strips.

They also advised the young ones to wash their hands after using the washrooms, after returning from the playground from every meal. The important message was that with effective hand washing, one can not only prevent diseases but avoid spreading germs to others as well. The high energy displayed by the volunteers of the club and the enthusiasm with which their advice was welcomed by the students of RTILC SRMS School made it abundantly clear that the event was a huge success.
