Students took their<em>\u00a0\u2018deeksha\u2019<\/em>\u00a0amid heartfelt applause from proud families, as degrees, medals and awards celebrated years of hard work and determination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Honouring Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shri Ram Murti Gold Medal (\u20b951,000)<\/strong>:\u00a0<em>Harsh Saxena (CET)<\/em>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<em>Utkarsh Jaiswal (CETR) for top academic performance in B Tech (2021-25 batch)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gold Medals (\u20b921,000)<\/strong>:\u00a0<em>Pooja Karakoti, Nizarish Umar, Raj Kushwaha &amp; Amulya Sharma for course toppers at CET<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sports Awards<\/strong>:\u00a0<em>Devesh Gangwar (CET)<\/em>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<em>Saurabh Singh (CETR) for outstanding sports achievements<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ceremony was presided over by\u00a0<strong>Prof (Dr) Jai Prakash Pandey<\/strong>, Hon\u2019ble VC, Dr APJAK Technical University, Lucknow, who declared the \u2018convocation open\u2019, highlighting the power of positive thinking, motivation and commitment.\u00a0<strong>Chief Guest Prof (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Joshi<\/strong>, Chairman, National Testing Agency, New Delhi, delivered the convocation address &amp; spoke on ethics, innovation, AI and India@2047, while\u00a0<strong>Guest of Honour Er Pooja Srivastava<\/strong>, Scientist\/Engineer-G, ISRO (Ahmedabad) and SRMS alumna (1996 batch) inspired students to give back more than they receive with emphasis on discipline, teamwork and use of technology for societal good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Vision Forward<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>SRMS Trust\u00a0<\/strong>Founder &amp; Chairman\u00a0<strong>Shri Dev Murti<\/strong>\u00a0paid tribute to Late Ram Murti Ji in the presence of\u00a0<strong>Aditya Murti<\/strong>\u00a0(Trust Secretary), all heads, faculty and staff of Trust institutions including\u00a0<strong>Dr Prabhakar Gupta<\/strong>\u00a0(Principal, CET);\u00a0<strong>Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong>\u00a0(Dean Academics, CET &amp; R);\u00a0<strong>Prof (Dr) Tarun Singh Gangwar\u00a0<\/strong>(Dean, SRMS IBS) and several other dignitaries. Shri Dev Murti shared the Trust\u2019s future vision, with upcoming State University for skill-development, a 150-bed modern hospital &amp; trauma centre, industrial and IT parks, and startup support for young innovators &amp; entrepreneurs.
