“Gynae-Oncology: Pondering the Basics” …Knowledge is strength
The CME is being conducted under the aegis of AGOI at Shri Ram Murti Smark Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly on 22 Sept 2024. Gynaecological Oncology, a specialized field within broader realm of Oncology, is dedicated to the study and treatment of cancers affecting the female reproductive system. Over the years, significant advances have been made in this field leading to improved outcomes and enhanced QOL.
In view of generating awareness and updating the management concepts of Gynae Oncology (both preventive and therapeutic), pioneers as well as seasoned experts in this field are invited to deliver their lectures. Besides lectures, two panel discussions will be a major academic feast. These panel discussions will deliberate on various Gynae malignancies with special inputs from gynae/surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologist and gynaecologists. The Association of Gynaecologic Oncologists of India (AGOI), is a multi disciplinary professional group of gynae oncologists, medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologist and allied health care professionals, committed to work on gynaecological cancers. Since its inception in 1991, the organization has worked for the improvement in the field of early detection and appropriate treatment of various gynaecological malignancies. To fulfill its aim, the society focuses on dissemination of accurate information and skill acquisition through fellowships, CME’s, conferences and hands on workshops.
We are thankful to AGOI, for allowing us to conduct this CME under their flagship. It has been our sincere endeavor to include a short and crisp. scientific programme in this CME. We hope that this CME will enrich you and meet your expectations.

About the Institute
Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly, a mission conceptualised in year 2002 is the most modern 1200 bedded multi super speciality and tertiary care hospital and a recognized medical college, catering for health needs in a radius of 250 kms of Bareilly zone reaching up to farthest border towns of Uttarakhand & Nepal. The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has been an integral part of this institute since its inception. We provide evidence based treatment according to standard guidelines and cater as a tertiary care referral centre for wide area population in the Rohilkhand region. Our team of dedicated doctors handle life-threatening emergencies, unprecedented number of deliveries and unearthly working hours with ease and expertise. We are one of the most active departments of this institute running specialized clinics in-high risk pregnancy, Infertility, endocrinology, family welfare, cancer and menopausal. SRMS IVF Centre is providing class evidence based care to infertile couple with promising results along with fertility preservation to cancer patients. Recently, Gynae-Oncology & Oncofertility units have been a value addition in our institute under the flagship of R. R. Cancer Institute & Research Centre.
