About the Institute
Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly, a mission conceptualised in year 2002 is the most modern 1200 bedded multi super speciality and tertiary care hospital and a recognized medical college, catering for health needs in a radius of 250 kms of Bareilly zone reaching up to farthest border towns of Uttarakhand & Nepal. The Medical College (recognized by Ministry of Health, Govt. of India and approved by Medical Council of India, New Delhi offers Undergraduate (MBBS), Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses in all 23 pre, para & clinical departments and super speciality courses DM in Neurology & MCh in Neurosurgery.
The Institute in twenty two years of its establishment has grown multifold in terms of facilities, expertise and medical education. It is the only medical college among the self-funded ones to house one of the best medical technologies available in the country for diagnosis and intervention. Among them are 3 Tesla 48 channel MRI, 256 Slice Dual Source CT Scan, High Energy Linear Accelerator, HDR Brachytherapy alongwith 19 ultramodern fully equipped modular laminar flow OTs, SICU, ICU, ICCU, NICU, PICU, Cath Lab with DSAsupported by high tech computerized clinical labs and blood bank with component separation facility.
Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery
The department is one of the major centres for head and neck cancer surgeries, reconstruction, and rehabilitation in north India. This is aided by various investigative techniques available like fibreoptic nasopharyngolaryngoscopy, narrow band imaging and vediolaryngostroboscopy. We are eager to spread our presence in different avenues and fulfil any responsibility entrusted upon us.
