The Department of Cardiology boasts of a faculty that is nationally and internationally recognized in treating various cardiovascular conditions including a trial fibrillation.
ONCOSURGERY
Oncosurgery department was initiated in 2014. Cancer surgeries of head and neck region, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and breast are routinely performed.
PLASTIC SURGERY
The department of plastic surgery was started in 2014 wherein all range of aesthetic surgeries is performed.
UROLOGY
Urology has consistently been the best performing surgical department in the institute. Staffed by a dynamic team of doctors, technicians and nurses.
The Central Research Laboratory has been exclusively developed to promote and participate in research at the institute. The lab conducts several advanced tests such as Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Western Blot, UV-Visible spectrophotometry,chromatography, electrophoresis and molecular techniques (DNA extraction). Confirmation of Sulphas poisoning and PCR based detection of fungi in corneal scrapings are two new techniques which have been developed by the lab. Future plans include Intra-Uterine Insemination Lab, Cryo-Preservative lab, Stem cell/Tissue culture lab, Genetic test lab and Molecular forensic laboratory.

The MBBS Programme has been designed taking into account all aspects of health care, patient care, teaching and research.
POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME
After the MCI recognition of M.B.B.S. degree in September 2010, Institute stepped forward for another giant Leap. The Institute was granted permission to start Postgraduate course (M.D./M.S.) in 16 specialities in the very first application to Medical Council of India.
INTERNSHIP
Internship is a time for a graduate to apply theoretical knowledge into practical skills!
A student has to undergo compulsorily Internship from the Institute for 12 months on rotatory basis after passing out.

Shri Ram Murti Smark Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS) is now an extablished leading institution in the field of Medical Care, Education & Research. The Institute has been established by Shri Ram Murti Smark Trust under the guiding principles of Shri Dev Murti ji, Managing Trustee and founder.
SRMSIMS Hospital
Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the best Hospital in Bareilly which has most modern 950 bed, centrally air-conditioned, Multi Super Speciality, Tertiary Care and a Trauma Hospital established on 4th July' 2002. The Hospital has 600 teaching beds for teaching and training of students pursuing their MBBS Programme. The treatment of the patients on these beds is done free of cost. The Hospital is well equipped with facilities to provide quality teaching & training to the students in various departments. Students during their clinical training are exposed to variety of patients so as to make them competents in the field of medicine. During their training students are also exposed to behavioural & managerial skills required in todays world for becoming a complete medical practitioner.
