institute, Nephrology has \nbeen in a state of steady progress. Always improving, \nthe department successfully runs the busiest dialysis \ncentre in the region catering to a wide variety of patients \nfrom all walks of life. Ever ready to provide services, the \ndepartment is always well received by one and all.<br>Managing the dialysis centre in the institute is a \ncohesive and dedicated team of doctors, techniciansand nursing staff. Department is managing every aspect \nof kidney disease and is intensively involved in all \nprocedures of interventional nephrology including kidney \nbiopsy, placement of temporary as well as permanent \nvascular catheters (PERMCATH), AV fistula and CAPD \ncatheter placement, plasmapheresis and paediatric \ndialysis. All the latest modalities of treatment are being \noffered at exceptionally low cost to the patients. Recently, \ndepartment has started renal transplant services also \nincluding ABO compatible, ABO incompatible, SWAP and \nhigh risk renal transplant.
