In her welcome address, <strong>Dr Parul Maheshwari<\/strong>,\u00a0Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology highlighted milestones achieved in IVF treatment. Later, a panel discussion took place on myths surrounding IVF with specialists <strong>Dr Shashi Bala Arya<\/strong>, Professor &amp; Head; <strong><b>Professor<\/b><\/strong><strong>\u00a0Dr Ruchica Goel<\/strong>; <strong>Professor Dr Mridu Sinha; <\/strong>along with\u00a0<strong>Dr (Brig)Vandana Negi<\/strong>, Head, Department of Pediatrics &amp; Neonatology. As World IVF Day also coincides with World Embryologist Day, <strong>Dr Komal Singh Bisht, <\/strong>an Embryologist at IMS emphasized upon meticulous care &amp; support provided during IVF treatments here.<br \/>\nThereafter, PG &amp; MBBS students presented a poem on unparalleled feelings of being a mother. Soon after, parents\/ couples being treated with IVF, shared their journeys of parenthood while experiencing world-class IVF facilities at IMS.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, <strong>Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust<\/strong>\u00a0distributed gift hampers to children in the presence of <strong>Air Marshal Dr MS Butola<\/strong>, Principal IMS; <strong>Dr (Col) RP Singh<\/strong>, Medical Superintendent; <strong>Dr Neelima Mehrotra<\/strong>,\u00a0Dean UG; <strong>Dr (Col) Manoj Kumar Tangri<\/strong>, Gynae-Oncologist; <strong>Dr SK Sagar<\/strong>, Professor &amp; Head, Department of General Surgery; <strong>Professor Dr Piyush Kumar<\/strong>, Director, RR Cancer Institute etc.<\/p>\n<p>As a part of ongoing celebrations, <strong>SRMSIMS<\/strong>\u00a0is hosting an <strong>&#8216;Infertility &amp; IVF Camp\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0from <strong>August 1-3, (9 AM to 2 PM) <\/strong>at the <strong>IVF OPD <\/strong>of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>SRMS Hospital.
