In a story of resilience, compassion, and medical excellence, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly<\/strong> has once again proven why it stands as a pillar of trust in healthcare.<\/p>\n

A patient named, Chandrabhan Singh <\/strong> from Bareilly<\/strong>, suffering from a very rare and complex case of Severe Bony Ankylosis of both Hip joints<\/strong>, with flexion, abduction, <\/strong> and external rotation deformity<\/strong>, was referred to us at SRMS IMS <\/strong> after being turned away from multiple major centers across the region. Adding to the challenge, the patient came from an extremely poor socioeconomic background.<\/p>\n

But at SRMS, no one is left behind! Under the leadership of Shri Dev Murti,<\/strong> Chairman, SRMS Trust and Aditya Murti,<\/strong> Director Administration, this rare case was taken up by Dr Rahul Verma<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedic with utmost care and commitment, who performed the surgery, and expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, \u201cI feel truly grateful to our management for placing their trust in me with this challenging case. My heartfelt thanks also to Dr Sanjay Gupta<\/strong>, Professor & Head, Orthopaedics; Dr Geeta Karki<\/strong>, Professor & Head, Anesthesia, and her entire team for standing by with constant support and ensuring the highest level of patient safety in the OT. The most rewarding part is seeing the patient, who once struggled even to move, now walking on his own and living with new hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

What makes this journey even more meaningful is that both surgeries were carried out entirely Free of Cost<\/strong> under the Ayushman Bharat PMJAY Scheme<\/strong> and SRMS Trust\u2019s healthcare initiatives<\/strong>, which is a true reflection of its mission to blend medical excellence with compassion & empathy.<\/p>\n
