World Class Infrastructure

Fertility is an emotional but an important economic family decision. Infertility recognized and classified as a disease, has increased over the last few years. More and more couples are approaching fertility clinics with the problem of infertility. Infertility in male and female is on the rise and with the help of Assisted Reproductive Technology, the couples are able to attain parenthood and fulfill their family building dreams.

The success of any ART laboratory depends on its IVF laboratory. The primary function of an ART laboratory is to provide an optimal environment for gametes and embryos. The three key areas to focus on would be the place or location of the laboratory, the embryologists, and the protocols or quality control. Lab design, ART layout, Equipment’s and consumables used in ivf laboratory form an important part in IVF laboratory

A critical component in the treatment of infertility is the IVF lab. The IVF lab handles the patient’s eggs and sperm, creates embryos, in some cases facilitates genetic testing and prepares the embryos for transfer. While the role of the fertility expert is to take care of you, it is the role of fertility lab to create, grow, test and prepare the best possible embryos for transfer.

Clean Room IVF Laboratory

Clean air is vital to produce and maintain high pregnancy rates. Hospital has a specialized clean room lab which is pressurized and has three stage HEPA filters with laminar air flow which remove particles and volatile organic compounds ( also called VOCs; they harm embryos and reduce pregnancy rates). The air quality, temperature and humidity in the laboratory can be controlled and optimized to produce the best results. The clean room is pressurized to maintain cleanliness. This lab and the adjoining theatres are built according to international recommendations and guidelines of assisted reproduction authorities

Consumables

Consumables used in ART are of established brands that have been used and are proven to be safe for culture of human gametes and embryos. Plastic ware such as test tubes, petri dishes, graduated pipettes, four-well culture dishes, embryo transfer catheters, glassware such as injection needles and holders for ICSI, embryo transfer catheters and oocyte aspiration needles are disposable and for single use only. Only powder-free gloves are used in the entire lab.

Clean work stations

Vertical laminar flow workstations with heating zones that enable precise temperature control across the work surface, with built-in microscope integrated for IVF with maximum work space with accommodation of all essential requirements enabling for embryo safety.

Incubator

The heart of the laboratory - with its precise control over temperature, ambient humidity and gas regulation, it remains the backbone of success as these parameters play an important role in ensuring optimal pH thus eliminating osmotic stress for the cultured gametes. Available in two capacities:

  1. Routine box incubators.
  2. Table top micro incubators.

The new incubator facility with features that deliver top performance making it the perfect choice for routine incubation of embryos during fertilization and blastocyst culturing. With chambers, the incubator with multi-room that allows users to access their cultures in one chamber without affecting the neighboring chambers. Thus, the harmful effects of fluctuations in temperature and gas caused by frequent incubator access are avoided. The features controlled points that is 2 points for every chamber: one on the bottom and another on the heated lid.
