The 3rd International conference “MEDICINE Update 2015” organized by the Department of General Medicine, SRMSIMS, Bareilly was held on 13th, 14th, 15th of March 2015.
A preconference workshop on American Heart Association accredited Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support was held in which Post graduates were given hands-on training on mannequins by AHA accredited Trainers.
The theme of the conference was “Medicine: Today and Futuristicâ€. There were 42 eminent speakers of International repute including speakers from abroad who delivered lectures on their respective specialties of Medicine which were extremely beneficial and helpful for Practitioners, Physicians and postgraduates attending this conference.
There was healthy participation by Postgraduates of SRMSIMS as well as from outside universities. There were special sessions for Postgraduate students including Oral paper and Poster presentation and a PG quiz to assess their abilities.
The conference was accredited 12 CME points by the State Medial Council.
