The Department of Pediatrics & Neonatology, SRMS IMS organized a Health Care Provider Course under the banner of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) in association with its Bareilly branch on 23rd October 2016. HCP Course on Basic Life Support was aimed to educate and give hands on experience on this life-saving art to the health care professionals and citizens. The Basic Life Support is the most basic resuscitation that can be performed even out of hospital without any drugs or equipment with our bare hands. The Program was conducted under the guidance of Zonal Co-ordinator of IAP-BLS group Dr. Anant Ketkar, who has presided over entire event as a central observer in order to make SRMS IMS an accredited centre for conducting BLS course for Paramedical, Nursing staff and general public. The program was well attended with 40 registered participants and 4 National level Instructors from IAP-BSL group to train them.
