One such #CancerSurvivor, AYESHA KHAN from Rampur who was diagnosed with Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP) in 2015, says, “In 2015, a mass-lump developed on my shoulder that was very painful. After consulting several doctors, I was referred to Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Hospital, Bareilly wherein I met Professor Dr Piyush Kumar Agarwal, HOD, Department of Radiation Oncology at SRMS HOSPITAL, who performed several investigations and diagnosed me with Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans Cancer. After multiple check-ups and battling through chemotherapy sessions, I emerged from the shadows of cancer. Today, I stand as a testament to resilience and triumph—a cancer survivor living a vibrant, cancer-free life.”

Ayesha Khan’s husband, Faruk Khan, adds, "My wife was diagnosed with cancer, and it was a heartbreaking news to the entire family. We didn’t lose hope and opted for proper and systematic treatment at SRMS Hospital. It has been 10 years now, and my wife is completely fit and healthy. I truly believe that no disease is incurable, if timely treatment is received from a hospital like SRMS.”
