International Conference at SRMS Bareilly focuses on emerging issues on contemporary business practices in modern times Faculty of Management Sciences, SRMS Bareilly recently organized an International Conference that saw the presence of over 150 delegates from all over the world. ‘Emerging issues on Contemporary Business Practices in the Era of Intelligence’ was the theme of the conference that had accepted more than 60 papers for presentation. Overall, it facilitated a powerful platform for engaging exchange of ideas on modern-day business practices through dialogue with experts in the field.

Mr. Hans G Engrrob, Director, Owner Lyninco Apps, Denmark was the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony. He was joined by Shri Dev Murti ji, Chairman, Shri Aditya Murti, Secretary, and Er. Subash Mehra, Administrator, of SRMS Trust. Dr. Prabhakar Gupta, Dean, Academics set the tone for the conference by welcoming the esteemed guests. Dr. Anuj Kumar, HOD, MBA and MCA described the outline of the conference and highlighted its objectives.

Mr. Sanam Kumar, Senior Industry Expert, who was the Guest of Honor for the ceremony shared insights on a number of topics including learning-unlearning-relearning, analyzing and handling business problems, hampering long term goals by short ones. Mr. Hans G Engrrob offered the example of Smartphones to focus on the growing influence of technology. He also shed light on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, which already has an overwhelming presence in the business world.

Shri Aditya Murti built on the conversation and Shri Dev Murti ji added an interesting perspective by reminding how AI is driving people further apart. The conference also saw many invigorating discussions through technical sessions. They were spearheaded by Prof. Sanjay Mishra, from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly Dr. Rakesh Kumar Yadav, Prof. IFTM, Moradabad, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Symbiosis University, Indore, and Dr. Jwaad Akhtar Khan, Jamia Hamdard.

Another highlight of the conference was the wide range of informative papers that were presented. Many of them left their mark and they received valuable feedback from Dr. Sanjay Mishra. Ms. Richa Sakuja, Asst. Professor, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University and Dr. Ankita Tandon, Faculty of Management Science, SRMS IBS, Lucknow, bagged the top honours for their paper on “Automation of services and its impacts on Service Providers, Customers and Human Resources”.

Mr. Agam Prasad, Prof. Sanjeev Swami and Mr. Harshit Sharma, Dayal Bagh Educational Institute, Agra, who presented a paper on “Artificial Intelligence and its Implications for Management” won the second prize. Ms. Priya Narula and Dr. Iffat Naseem, Dept. of Health Management, Jamia Hamdard rounded up the top three winners for their paper on “An Analytical study on Management of Maternal Health in South Delhi, R. K. Puram”.
