SRMS College of Nursing<\/strong> and SRMS Hospital, Bareilly <\/strong>recently celebrated International Nurses Day<\/strong> on the theme ‘Our Nurses Our Future\u2019.<\/strong> The event began with welcoming Shri Dev Murti<\/strong>, Chairman SRMS Trust; Lt. Col. Aleyamma<\/strong> VG Chief Matron SRMS IMS; Mamta, Assistant Nursing Superintendent,<\/strong> SRMS IMS; Professor Rintu Chaturvedi,<\/strong> Principal, SRMS College of Nursing; Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, <\/strong>Principal SRMS IMS; Lt. Col. RP Singh, <\/strong>Medical Superintendent SRMS IMS and several other dignitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The celebrations were divided in two sessions, wherein first session began with an engaging seminar conducted by MSc Final-Year Students; Setu Laxmi, Smriti & Shalini <\/strong>along with a presentation sponsored by BD Company on \u2018Protection of Patient and Protection of health care workers.\u2019 <\/strong>This was followed by a quiz & puzzle competition. The second session had poster competition wherein students of BSc Nursing and GNM took active participation, and undertook the prestigious Nursing pledge. The event further proceeded with a captivating dance performance by Richa Saxena <\/strong>(ICCU Staff), followed by a motivational speech of Mamta Singh. Later, Nursing students presented a mime, while depicting the life story of Florence Nightingale. At the end, cake cutting ceremony followed along with announcing of winners of quiz, puzzle & poster competition, who were felicitated by Shri Dev Murti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
