{"id":1991,"date":"2023-12-28T11:07:07","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/nursing\/?p=1991"},"modified":"2023-12-28T11:13:33","modified_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:13:33","slug":"shri-ram-murti-smarak-college-of-nursing-welcomes-new-batch-of-bsc-nursing-with-prestigious-lamp-lighting-oath-ceremony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/nursing\/shri-ram-murti-smarak-college-of-nursing-welcomes-new-batch-of-bsc-nursing-with-prestigious-lamp-lighting-oath-ceremony\/","title":{"rendered":"SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK COLLEGE OF NURSING WELCOMES NEW BATCH OF BSc NURSING WITH PRESTIGIOUS LAMP LIGHTING &amp; OATH CEREMONY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Management, Staff &amp; Students <\/strong>of <strong>Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Nursing, Bareilly<\/strong>recently organized a<strong>Lamp Lightning &amp; Oath Ceremony<\/strong> of<strong>18<sup>th<\/sup> Batch of GNM &amp; 7<sup>th <\/sup>Batch of BSc Nursing students<\/strong>, which proved to be a significant dayfilled with spirit of commitment as students embarked on their nursing journey with sincerity &amp; enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event began with deep prajawalan by <strong>Shri Dev Murti,<\/strong> Chairman SRMS Trust and his motivational address. This was followed by presenting a plant sapling to <strong>Aditya Murti,<\/strong>Director Administration &amp;Trust Secretary, in the presence of <strong>Air Marshal Dr MS Butola<\/strong>, Principal IMS; <strong>Dr RP Singh,<\/strong> Medical Superintendent &amp; several others. Thereafter, <strong>Professor Aneesh Chandran<\/strong>, Vice Principal (Officiating Principal), SRMS College of Nursing gave a welcome speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soon after, candle lightning &amp; capping ceremony of <strong>BSc Nursing &amp; GNM students, Batch 2023<\/strong>unfolded, wherein oath was administered by <strong>Jyoti Sharma<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, SRMS College of Nursing. During the ceremony,<strong>Nimmy Arya<\/strong>, Assistant Professor&amp;<strong>Joyce Wilson<\/strong>, Matron at SRMS Nursing College enlightened the audience on the significance of lamp lighting in nursing profession&amp;remembered <strong>Florence Nightingale<\/strong> \u2014a lady with the lamp. The event proceeded with much-awaited<strong>Scholarship distribution<\/strong>by <strong>Shri Dev Murti &amp; Aditya Murti, <\/strong>whodistributed scholarships <strong>worthRs 1.5 lakhs<\/strong>todeserving <strong>BSc Nursing graduates of Batch 2019.<\/strong>The events\u2019 MOC were B Sc Nursing students\u2014 <strong>Anubhav Sahay &amp; Harneet Kaur.<\/strong><br>Towards the end, Aditya Murti delivered an inspiring address to the students.
