With a commitment to honor the achievements of women across all spheres of life, Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Nursing <\/strong>joyously observed International Women’s Day <\/strong>on the inspiring theme \u2018Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress\u2019<\/strong>, which highlighted the importance of directing resources, support and attention towards women to expedite positive advancements all over.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The event began with poster competition and presentation, showcasing students’ creative skills and perspectives depicted on the canvas. Following this, a video clipping & poem recitation amplified the message of women empowerment & gender equality. Thereafter, Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal, SRMS Nursing College<\/strong> shared her profound insights on women empowerment, emphasizing the crucial role of women in driving societal change. The event was well organized by Heena Praveen, PG Tutor<\/strong>, and hosted by Priya & Divyanshi, <\/strong>BSc Nursing third-semester students.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Towards the end, winners of poster competition were announced wherein Rubal <\/strong>from BSc Nursing second-semester <\/strong>clinched first prize<\/strong> while Muskan & Madhu from GNM second-year<\/strong> got second & third prize<\/strong> respectively. The event ended on a high note, sensitizing attendees towards supporting women & their rights worldwide.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
