Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) College of Nursing, Bareilly <\/strong><\/a> commemorated World Environment Day<\/strong> with an engaging \u2018Plantation Drive\u2019<\/strong> at its lush-green campus, symbolizing the institution\u2019s commitment to restoring & preserving the environment. Based on this year\u2019s theme, \u2018Land Restoration, Desertification & Drought Resilience,\u2019<\/strong> the drive aimed to raise awareness about crucial environmental issues like climate change, global warming, extreme weather conditions, imbalanced ecosystems etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

During the drive, Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal, SRMS College of Nursing<\/strong> emphasized upon the urgent need to mitigate the ill-effects of environmental concerns, preserve the planet\u2019s health & encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices. During her address, she urged everyone to create a greener environment. Following this, nursing students administered an oath to keep the environment clean and green& gave enthusiastic involvement in tree plantation. Thereafter, all faculties and students planted various saplings while enhancing the campuses\u2019 green cover.\r\nOverall, the plantation drive was a collaborative initiative, wherein everyone promoted environmental consciousness and community engagement, making environment day celebration a significant day to address environmental challenges, and contributing towards sustainable environmental practices. The drive was thoughtfully executed by Caring Hands club\u2019s President Riya<\/strong> & Vice President Manas Tarun.<\/strong>\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
