This two-month ongoing campaign at <strong>SRMS IMS <\/strong> in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/ims\/department-of-community-medicine\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">Department of Community Medicine  <\/strong><\/a>  &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/ims\/hospital\/department-of-ophthalmology\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">Department of Ophthalmology<\/strong><\/a> has witnessed a series of events like <strong>Public Awareness Quiz, Street Play, Kavi Sammelan<\/strong>, <strong>Awareness activities on Organ Donation in Health Camps, Organ Donation Pledge Registration Drive<\/strong> &amp; lot more.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, a <strong>Public Awareness Quiz<\/strong>, conducted in patient waiting lounges of OPDs, educated PG residents, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/ims\/courses\/mbbs-programme\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">MBBS <\/strong><\/a> Interns, students &amp; patients about the dire need to donate organs. This was followed by impactful <strong>Street Plays<\/strong> based on organ donation, performed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/paramedical\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS) <\/strong><\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/nursing\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">SRMS College of Nursing <\/strong><\/a> students at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/ims\/hospital\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">SRMS Hospital&#8217;s <\/strong><\/a> reception area. The campaign reached its climax with <strong>Kavi Sammelan<\/strong> held at IMS, wherein <strong>UG <\/strong> &amp;<strong>PG students <\/strong> of <strong>IMS<\/strong>, along with <strong> IPS students<\/strong> shared engaging, emotional &amp; impressive poetry, highlighting the life-saving impact of pledging and donating organs.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the organ donation awareness campaign kicked-off with <strong>\u2018Angdaan Jagrukta Abhiyaan\u2019<\/strong> at adopted villages in <strong>Abhyapur, RHTC &amp; UHTC <\/strong> of <strong> SRMS IMS.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/embed\/n9qwd_dcslY\" width=\"100%\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On account of National Organ Donation Month, SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly dedicated the months of JULY &amp; AUGUST towards inspiring people to become organ donors.
