SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly<\/strong><\/a> conducted a Quiz Competition<\/strong> for Higher Secondary students<\/strong> with an aim to raise awareness about TB, its prevention & treatment, in alignment with government’s mission to \u2018End TB by 2025 \u2013– TB Mukt Bharat\u2019<\/strong>. Focused on the theme \u2018<\/strong> Unite to End Tuberculosis\u2019<\/strong>, the competition saw participation of various schools of Bareilly including GRM Senior Secondary School, Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS, Sahu Thakur Das Inter College, Adarsh Niketan School, Shri Sohan Lal H S School, Sacred Heart\u2019s Public School & Chandra Prakash Memorial Inter College.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event began with sapling presentation to Chief Guest Er Subhash Mehra<\/strong>, Trust Advisor by Riya Kamari<\/strong>, President, Caring Hands Club. In his inaugural address, Er Subhash Mehra <\/strong> encouraged students to engage in similar health awareness campaigns and contribute to build a TB-free society. Under the guidance of Quiz Master,Parashram, Head, Community Health Nursing Department<\/strong>, the quiz was conducted in multiple rounds that witnessed intense yet friendly rivalry among teams. Later, a vote of thanks was delivered by Babita Thapa, <\/strong> Secretary, Caring Hands Club.<\/p>\n

After an intense competition, Virat Sharma, Shambhavi <\/strong> & Gaganjot Singh<\/strong> (GRM<\/strong>) clinched first prize, while Avika, Kushagra Saxena<\/strong> & Sahib Pasricha (GRM)<\/strong> grabbed second, and Anant Yadav, Taarak Singh Chand<\/strong> & Satyam Bhandari <\/strong> (KV AFS) <\/strong> won third prize, who were felicitated by Er Subhash Mehra<\/strong> & Prof Dr Muthu Maheshwari,<\/strong><\/a> Principal, SRMS College of Nursing.<\/p>\n
