Soft Contact Lens Fitting and Evaluation have been relatively downplayed over the years in the presence of frequent replacement and daily disposable soft lens modalities that have grown in the past two decades. However, in order to sensitize the availability of wide variety of soft contact lens and its development in recent years, a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘Soft Contact Lens Fitting’ was organized on November 25, 2022 by the Department of Optometry at SRMS IPS, Bareilly.
The lecture began with Dr CM Chaturvedi, Principal, SRMS IPS giving a warm welcome to Gulafsha Saifi, Assistant Professor at Bareilly International University by presenting a plant sapling. A practical session was also given to the students on the topic. It was explained how it is the time to do things differently using new technology having great potential. During the session, Dr Ashish Chauhan (PT), Vice principal of SRMSIPS; Sukhdev Singh, Faculty In-charge of Department of Optometry SRMS IPS, and Rohitash Gangwar, faculty member at Department of Optometry were present.
