WORLD RADIOLOGY DAY OBSERVED AT SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES

World radiology day marks the anniversary of the discovery of X-ray, which is observed on November 8th every year. However, the purpose of this day is to raise public awareness of radiographic imaging technology, which plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and most importantly, ensuring radiation safety.
On this note, SRMS College of Paramedical Sciences observed World Radiology Day on November 8th, 2022 in a spectacular way, while focusing on the importance of X-rays, which are the foundation of many medical diagnostic tools and help doctors discover a range of problems. The day also celebrates the hard-working radiographers and radiologists who make x-rays possible.
To celebrate this day, Dr Neeraj Prajapati, MD Radio Diagnosis was the honorable Chief Guest, who delivered a phenomenal lecture on radiologists and radiographers supporting patients. The students of 2020 and 2021 batch of BRIT/CTMRI also performed a street play on radiation safety in front of the hospital with great enthusiasm, which was learning and visual treat for all.
