30 September | SRMS CET A book launch ceremony “COREPEELERS – A Journey to your Core” authored by Mr. Achal Sharma (alumnus- PGDM 1996 batch) was organised in SRMS CET in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Chairman Shri Dev Murti, Trust Secretary Shri Aditya Murti, Dean Academics Dr. Prabhakar Gupta,Head Training and Development cell, MBA & MCA Dr. Anuj Kumar, Academic coordinator CET&R Dr. M.M. Jha, Dean Student Welfare CET Er. Ashish Kumar, HOD’s of various departments and faculty members from CET and CET&R.
It all started with the lamp lightening ceremony for spreading the divinity in the atmosphere by lightning the lamp and worshiping goddess Saraswati by the dignitaries which helped to make the event a success following which the Dean Academics Dr. Prabhakar Gupta gave a brief about the book to the audience. Dr. Anuj Kumar mesmerized everyone with his words of motivation and the zeal in the audience was regained.
A panel discussion was also conducted by Mr. Manish Chaturvedi on the topic ‘Success through Mindfulness’ where the audience got a chance to gain the golden words from the dignitaries who had their own personal experience of success in the various fields. Trust secretary Shri Aditya Murti, Arvinder Singh, Anruddh Goel, Brijendra Nirmal and ShailendraKr Singh gave their precious views on the topic.
Then after the book “Corepeelers – A Journey to your Core” was unveiled by the dignitaries which was followed by the author Mr. Achal Sharma himself with a pep talk. He described the actual mission for which he worked so hard. He described the moto of writing the book and shared every possible incidents which made him what he actually is. Chairman Shri Dev Murti guided the students in a positive manner and asked them to rely more on books rather than taking a shortcut through internet. A vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Vineet Verma and hence the event was concluded successfully.
