The electrifying SHRI RAM MURTI MEMORIAL T-20 PRIZE MONEY CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2025 (Season-5), organized in association with Bareilly Cricket Association, which captivated cricket fans from February 18 to March 1, 2025, at SRMS Cricket Academy (at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly, culminated in a nail-biting GRAND FINALE, where SRMS CRICKET ACADEMY emerged victorious with a 30-run win over Thekedar 11 and lifted the prestigious Champions Trophy along with a winning cash prize of Rs 1,00,000. This tournament was a roller coaster ride for teams and spectators both, and wrapped up in a fierce display of spectacular cricketing action!
During the intense Finale, SRMS CRICKET ACADEMY that won the toss and opted to bat first, made 211/6 in 20 overs against Thekedar 11 (181/9 in 20 overs) and won by 30 runs. Anantveer from SRMS Cricket Academy bagged the ‘Player of the match’ as well as the ‘Best Batter’ titles, hitting 84 runs in 43 balls with 9 4s and 4 6s. Satyam Sangu (from IK Collection SG Cantt Bareilly) grabbed ‘Man of the Series’ title.
The Chief Guest of the Final Match was Jag Pravesh, IAS Officer & Chief Development Officer (CDO), Bareilly, who felicitated the winning and runner-up team along with Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust & Umesh Agarwal, AGM, Punjab National Bank, in the presence of Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary. Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta , Dean Academics, SRMS CET; and other dignitaries were also present at the closing ceremony.
