SRMS TRUST-LEVEL ART COMPETITION IGNITES IMAGINATION & CULTURE THROUGH CANVAS!
The Verve Club of SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly recently hosted a vibrant Trust-level Art Competition titled ‘Draw Your Imagination’, where creativity, culture, and expression converged on canvas. Open to students across all SRMS Trust institutions, the event invited young artists to explore two evocative themes‘Dance Forms’ and ‘Vaadya Yantra’ — through their art.
The competition kicked off with a warm welcome and brief introduction. Students were encouraged to think deeper, create freely, connect culturally and bring their unique perspectives to life, capturing the spiritual rhythm of classical dance and symbolic power of musical instruments as carriers of knowledge and energy. From intricate depictions of classical postures to spiritually-charged artistic interpretations of yantras, the entries stood out for both imagination and technical finesse. The judges had a tough task evaluating the diverse entries, wherein Anshul Saxena (CETR), Rishika Goel (CET) and Chandra Pratap Singh (Nursing) bagged first, second & third prize respectively. The consolation prizes were grabbed by Aastha Rajput (Nursing), Akansha (IPS), and Arju Yadav (IPS).
Towards the beginning, the event was inaugurated by Richa Murti, Director, SRMS Goodlife Hospital, and was graced by the presence of Aditya Murti Trust Secretary; Er. Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta , Principal CET; Dr Shailesh Saxena , Dean Academics CETR, among other dignitaries.
