On the occasion of TECHVYOM 2024 held at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly, SRMS Alumni Association in collaboration with SRMS Engineering Institutions—Bareilly | Lucknow | Unnao organized an ‘Alumni Meet’, which saw much awaited reunion of alumni of B Tech, B Pharm, MBA, MCA & M Tech. The event was a nostalgic journey down memory lane, fostering camaraderie & professional networking among the alumni.
Based on the theme ‘throwback to the good old days with my fellow alumni’,the event was a perfect opportunity to reconnect, interact, and reminisce about good old college days. Alumni Meet, witnessing the participation of around 22 alumni, began with a motivational address of Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell, who shared his cherished college memories as an alumnus in the presence of Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal CET, which was further followed by alumni sharing their real-life industry experiences.
The meet focused on industry readiness and the importance of acquiring relevant skills for employment. It also highlighted how in today’s competitive landscape; graduates require an insider’s perspective to prepare for this domain. Later, alumnus also brainstormed on strategies to enhance student engagement in college activities and discussed on ways to secure placements in their dream companies.
Towards the end, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr LS Maurya, Principal CETR. The MOC of the event were Riya Reji, while Aqsa Iqrar & Shaista Zaidi orchestrated the program with finesse.
