Goal of the Programme
Master of Computer Application (MCA) is a two years’ programme divided into five semesters of core teaching at the college level and the last semester has been dedicated for live project work to be undertaken at a firm engaged in software development, so as to enable the students to be aware of the latest state-of-the-art technology in the related/specific field of his/her interest. Our MCA Programme aims at serving the social needs of public, private, corporate, non-corporate and other sectors of Indian economy by enhancing the communication skills & software development skills.The college emphasizes on conceptual teaching along with orientation towards live projects involving software development so as to afford an excellent exposure to the students. Special emphasis is being laid on System Programming Projects using C and C++. Apart from core studies like, Operating System, RDBMS Concepts, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture and Compiler Construction, etc., the students are also exposed to software development using Visual C++, JAVA, .NET, Oracle 9.0, Visual Basic, Developer 2000 and the latest internet Technologies including HTML/DHTML, XML, JAVASCRIPT, VBSCRIPT, COM/DCOM etc.

Admissions are as per the following:
MCA – Ist Year
85% seats of total intake are allotted according to the merit list of UPSEE as per state government directives through AKTU counseling.
15% & vacant/lapsed seats are allocated on the basis of merit of marks at graduation level/rank in UPSEE.
Eligibility
Graduation degree with 55% marks or Postgraduate in any subject from a recognised university with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.

Integrity of the System
All admissions are done maintaining transparency at every level. The admission against management quota is done through advertisement and the list of applicants and their merit is displayed on a Notice Board in the college after the screening. Fee charged for both categories of seats is as per U.P. Govt. directives.
