Goal of the Programme
The B.Tech. Programme has been designed taking into view the needs of various industries. The programme is regularly updated to cope with the ever-changing technology and demands of the industry. Our goal is to provide the requisite platform to budding engineers and technocrats to sharpen their reasoning, analytical and communication skills along with requisite technical knowledge so that they can meet with confidence the future challenges of growing technology. Emphasis is laid on enhancing computer and soft skills of students of all branches
Admission Procedure
B.Tech – Ist Year
Admissions are as per the following :
85% seats of total intake of all branches are allotted according to the merit list of UPSEE / JEE – Main as per State Government directives through online counseling.
15% seats of total intake & Vacant/Lapsed seats in all branches are allocated on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks in PCM without any grace marks in any of the subjects & brief objective assessment.
Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent (with 60% aggregate marks in P.C.M.) from a recognised board.
Must have a valid rank in UPSEE/ JEE – Main.
Admission under management quota will be made on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks in PCM without any grace marks in any of the subjects.
B.Tech – IInd Year
Candidates who have passed Diploma of 3 years (with minimum 60% marks) recognised by UP Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/Technology except Agriculture Engg. or B.Sc. (PCM) with 60% marks are eligible for admission to second year. In this case applicant must have appeared in UPSEE.

60% in Diploma/B.Sc. (PCM).
Fee Structure
Fee structure is available on college website. Fee to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “SRMSCET” payable at Bareilly for Bareilly Campus, “SRMSCET” payable at Unnao for Unnao campus & “SRMSWCET” payable
at Bareilly for Women’s Engineering College, Bareilly.

All admissions are done maintaining transparency at every level.
The admission against management quota is done through advertisement and the list
of applicants and their merit is displayed on college notice board.
The branch of study once allocated by the SEE.UPTU shall not be changed; however, such a change may be allowed against vacant seats at the beginning of IInd year, on the basis of merit in the B.Tech. 1st year examination result (without any back and grace marks).

Electronics & Communication Engineering(ECE) is an engineering discipline which utilizes non-linear and active electrical components (such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits) to design electronic circuits, devices and systems. This discipline encompasses the knowledge on fundamentals of communication engineering along with digital electronics and logic design. B.Tech in ECE from this college is a Four Years full time course. The curriculum provides a wide perspective of the field of electronics and communication and allows the student to decide their future directions. It is one of the most preferred branches as the students often diverge into related field such as computer engineering, research, electrical etc. Hence, ECE branch of B. Tech. provides the perfect ground and flexibility for students who wish to go into other streams.
For successful completion of this course the students must have strong analytical capability along with foundation knowledge of electronics.
After getting B.Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication multiple job opportunities are available in the fields of consumer electronics, manufacturing, telecommunications, computer applications etc. The engineers may be involved in research and development while working on cross functional engineering projects.
From the very beginning, the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has taken the lead in establishing well- equipped and modern Lab in the Institute. Students from the ECE branch often decide to pursue post-graduate studies, showing their ability to continue research in diverse areas. This illustrates the success of the institute in providing a solid base for serious research and development work.

Interested candidates are required to apply after the publications of admission notice. The prescribed application form could be purchased from college or downloaded from the website. The duly filled-in application form must be submitted along with required registration fee and required documents within last date applying for admission.

Electronic devices are being used in almost all the industries for quality control and automation and they are fast replacing the present vast army of workers engaged in processing and assembling in the factories. The rapid growth of electronic technology offers a formidable challenge to the beginner, who may be paralyzed by the mass of details. However, the mastery of fundamentals can simplify the learning process to a great extent.
We, at SRMS try to enhance and inbuilt the learning ability of the upcoming engineers so that they can serve the rapidly growing industries and the nation as well. The main objective of the department is to present the elementary knowledge of the electronics and related fields in order to enable the students to follow the existing and upcoming trends in their fields.
