The visit started with a brief introduction of the of the company profile, products, plant, and manpower structure by Manager HR. Mr. S P Gupta, head of the plant, guided students and faculty members to the research lab of the company for explanations of chemical processes to generate the products. Students asked several queries regarding the processes. Mr. Gupta, further explained the control room functioning for the whole plant control from one place which was equipped with latest multi-disciplinary technologies. The students were then visited the guided tour of complete plant explaining all machineries and processes to complete the manufacturing of two major products, acrylic fiber and acrylic taw.
