SRMS TRUST INSTITUTIONS CELEBRATE THE 77TH REPUBLIC DAY WITH PRIDE, UNITY & TOGETHERNESS

SRMS Trust Institutions celebrated the 77th Republic Day with pride, patriotism, and togetherness across all campuses. The day began with a heartfelt tribute to Late Shri Ram Murti Ji and Mahatma Gandhi, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag at each SRMS institution β€” SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET); College of Engineering Technology & Research (CETR); College of Law; College of Nursing; Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS); Institute of Allied & Healthcare Sciences (previously SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences), SRMS Riddhima and SRMS Goodlife Hospital, as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices behind India’s freedom.

Patriotic performances by students added colour and emotion to the celebrations, while the significance of Constitution, unity and the role of youth in nation-building was strongly echoed. The occasion also saw Scholarship Distribution Ceremony, encouraging students to pursue excellence. A special address by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust, in the presence of Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal CET; Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, SRMS Institute of Allied & Health Sciences and various other institutional and department heads, inspired the gathering to contribute meaningfully to society.

The highlight of the day was an energetic Friendly Cricket Match and Family Picnic at SRMS CET, bringing together heads, faculty, and staff from all SRMS Trust Institutions. The spirited match, held between engineering & medical institutions filled with teamwork and sportsmanship, perfectly captured the essence of celebration, bonding, and unity. The event was graced by senior leadership, principals, faculty members, staff, and students, making Republic Day at SRMS a true celebration of national pride and collective spirit.
