SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES IGNITES GREEN CREATIVITY ON WORLD EARTH DAY WITH POSTER CONTEST ON GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

To mark World Earth Day 2025, SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly hosted a Poster Competition centered on UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative aimed to inspire awareness and action among students toward pressing global issues such as climate change, clean energy, and responsible consumption, all while nurturing their creative spirit.

With the theme ‘Protect, Preserve & Sustain Our Planet’, the event invited students to visually interpret and express their ideas for environmental conservation and sustainability. The competition encouraged reflection on all 17 SDGs, promoting not just artistic expression but also a deeper sense of global responsibility.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from across SRMS Trust institutions . Posters were judged based on creativity and originality, relevance to the theme, clarity of message, and presentation. The judging panel included Dr Nabeela Khanam (PT), In-charge, Department of Physiotherapy, IPS; Er KK Agarwal, DSW, CET & R, and Paras Yadhuvanshi, DSW, SRMS College of Nursing.

All participants received certificates of appreciation, while the top three winners — Arzoo Raza (BMRIT 2022, IPS), Vaishnavi (BMRIT 2021, IPS) &Arju (BPT 2024, IPS) were honored in a ceremony attended by Dr Jaspreet Kaur (Principal, IPS); Dr Shivank Chaudhary (PT) (DSW, IPS) & other faculty members. The consolation prizes were clinched by Parul (SRMS College of Nursing); Garv Gupta (SRMSIMS) & Muneer Ali Raza Khan (SRMSCETR).
