Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedial Sciences (SRMS IPS), Bareilly is thrilled to announce that 14 students of Optometry of SRMS IPS have been grabbed by LENSKART during a Campus Placement Drive conducted by the company, opening doors to an incredible career in the world of eyecare, which is indeed a proud moment.
Lenskart is an Indian Multinational Optical Prescription Eyewear Retail Chain, based in Gurugram & has been one of the successful startups that the industry has witnessed. It is the only e-commerce company that started off with three lines of businesses, and has been quite successful.
However, Lenskart’s expert panel of four members graced IPS Campus in search of desirable talent, and conducted interviews of students for various positions, which provided valuable insights into the optometry industry. It was truly a learning experience like no other. The Panel members were welcomed by Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS in the presence of Sukhdev Singh, In-charge Optometry & faculty members of Optometry Department.
The campus recruitment drive commenced with welcome speech of Dr Jaspreet Kaur followed by an introductory presentation by the cluster optometrist, Mr. Shivam Chaudhary. This was followed by various rounds of interview conducted under the leadership of Mr. Vishal. Initial screening & assessment of the aspirants was done by Mr. Mueen Khan, Regional Manager, Lenskart, followed by HR round. Final round was conducted by Mr. Shrey Bhardwaj, wherein practical skills of students were assessed. Out of total 16 applicants, 14 students—13 from B Optom namely Amit Kumar, Anam Mashkoor, Gaurav Kumar, Jashanpreet Kaur, Keerti Sharma, Shaziya Bee, Mohd Nadeem, Nishu Yadav, Praveen Yadav, Rakesh, Kuldeep Kumar, Sahil Akhtar, Shevaz Ali & 1 from D Optom namely Kartik Vaish were finally selected at Rs 25K per month. Shivank Chaudary (PT), DSW motivated & supported for the successful conduction of this campus drive.
