In a proactive step towards fostering digital advancement &empowering youth,SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly organized a Tablet Distribution Ceremony as a part of Digi Shakti programme of UP Government, under Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme. Spearheaded by Honorable Chief Minister of UP, Yogi Adityanath, this initiative aims to bridge digital divide & create opportunities for socio-economic development of youth as part of Free Tablet Smartphone Yojana 2024.
The distribution ceremony saw tablets being distributed to IPS students of Master’s Program of Batch 2020 from diverse backgrounds namely Sapna, M Sc (MMLT); Shradhha Shukla, MOPTOM; Pankaj Kumar, MOPTOM & Mohd Sharik, MOPTOM, by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust in the presence of Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal at SRMS IPS. In his motivational address, Shri Dev Murti emphasized upon transformative potential of digital empowerment & how online learning has become indispensable. He further urged students to use tablets productively, stay updated with government schemes etc.
