The grand 4-day Sports Meet 2025, titled ‘AAVAHAN’, of SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly concluded recently with an array of sport events, followed by a closing and prestigious prize distribution ceremony, which was a fitting tribute to the sportsmanship & competitive spirit of participants.
The sports extravaganza saw intense competition across a variety of indoor and outdoor games, including Athletics (100m, 200m, 400m, 4×100 Relay, Discus Throw, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, High Jump & Long Jump), Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Carrom, Chess, Pool, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Legged Race. Adding to the excitement, a fun-filled Faculty Cricket Match brought moments of joy and camaraderie.
Soon after the gripping final rounds of several sports events, the closing ceremony began with welcome speech by Vaishnavi Sharma, a BRIT student of Batch 2021, Thereafter, winners in each category (from track & field events to team sports), were felicitated with medals, trophies and certificates by Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS, in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Dr RP Singh, MS; Rohitash Gangwar, DSW IPS & several others. Madiha Khan, Secretary of Vibrant Club, delivered a vote of thanks.
