SRMS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES CELEBRATED 78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH PATRIOTIC ZEAL, CIVIC PRIDE & ARDOR

Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMS IPS) Bareilly marked 78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY with immense pride that began with floral tribute to Late Shri Ram Murti ji & Mahatma Gandhi along with hoisting of flag by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust in the presence of Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal SRMS IMS ; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Neelima Mehrotra, Dean UG; Dr Rohit Sharma, Dean PG & Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS .

I-Day celebrations began with welcome address by MBBS student, Ritesh Kumar Jha of Batch 2021, followed by patriotic songs sung by IMS & IPS students. Addressing the gathering, Dr MS Butola emphasized upon milestones achieved by IMS including its 38th Rank among 781 medical colleges in India. Delivering a motivational address, Shri Dev Murti focused on importance of various Health ATM’s being installed for comprehensive health check-ups & successful Robotic Surgeries being performed at SRMS Hospital. The first edition of yearbook titled ‘Connect 2024’ initiated by Department of Medical Education was also unveiled during the event, along with its launch (e-version) on Gurukul App. Later, a vote of thanks was delivered by Dr (Col) RP Singh, Medical Superintendent.

Towards the end, winners of drama competition (held on World Environment Day) from MBBS Batch 2022 & 2023 were felicitated, wherein Komal Kumari received the award for Best Female Actor, Amisha Kulshrestha — Best Narrator, Harsh Mishra—Best Male Actor, Chaitanya Attri & Anubandh Pandey—Best Supporting Male Actors, while Muskan Chaudhary & Mehak Verma for Best Supporting Female Actors. Yash Singla & Vedika Dwivedi were recognized for working diligently behind the scenes.
