With much anticipation, the Vibrant Club of SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMSIPS), Bareilly kicked-off its grand Sports Meet-AAVAHAN-2023 on May 18 that will culminate on June 10, 2023 with a cultural gala. The grand event was declared officially open in an inaugural ceremony by releasing colorful balloons in the air by Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Dr MS Butola, Principal, IMS and Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor, in the presence of Dr CM Chaturvedi, Principal IPS; Dr Ashish Chauhan, Vice Principal IPS; Nitin Saxena, Sports Officer IMS & Shankar Pal, Sports Officer CET. The host of the event was Kritika Panday, Vice-President, Vibrant Club.
The grand commencement of Aavahan featured sportsmanship among athletes, dignitaries and inspiring speeches that ignited the spirit of camaraderie in everyone. The occasion reached its crescendo with lighting of the Sports Torch that was ignited by the dignitaries on the dais, and the flame of inspiration was passed on to Faiyaz Malik, a skilled athlete as well as Sports Head of Vibrant Club. This was followed by the motivational words shared by Aditya Murti, who took to the field along with other guests & cut the ribbon, signaling the commencement of the matches. Later, the coin was tossed, teams were introduced, and the atmosphere crackled with electrifying energy, marking the beginning of Aavahan.
