With a sole aim to indulge all institutions across the state, as well as in alignment with initiative by Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Lucknow; Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, UP & Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMS IPS), Bareilly , organized a ‘Tree Plantation Drive’, underscoring the crucial role of trees in safeguarding our environment.
The drive saw enthusiastic participation of Paramedical students along with Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS ; Dr Shivank Chaudhary, DSW ; Dr Hina Siddiqui (PT) , Department of Physiotherapy; Heads of various departments & Faculties, wherein they planted saplings together with a shared commitment of environmental protection.
During the drive, Dr Jaspreet Kaur highlighted the significance of tree plantation in combating climate change, global warming & restoration of biodiversity. She encouraged students to contribute to creating healthier ecosystems through planting trees. She also acknowledged invaluable & collective participation of everyone in this noble cause with successful execution of the drive. However, this drive raised awareness about environmental conservation, demonstrating SRMS IPS’s commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement towards global sustainability.
