UNFORGETTABLE & JOYOUS REUNION HELD AT SRMS INSTITUTIONS: A HEARTWARMING JOURNEY DOWN THE MEMORY LANE

SRMS Institutions, Bareilly recently hosted its much-awaited Alumni Meet, “RETRACE -23” for 1996-2018 Batch of MBA, PGDM, which brought together former students from various disciplines and generations. The event served as a platform for reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating the cherished memories forged at SRMS Institutions, Bareilly & SRMS IBS, Lucknow. With a blend of nostalgia and enthusiasm, Retrace -23 proved to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

The Alumni Meet took place in the grand setting of picturesque Alakhnanda Resort of SRMS Institutions, Bareilly, which provided a perfect backdrop for the gathering. The lush greenery, state-of-the-art facilities, and familiar surroundings instantly transported the alumni back to their college days, evoking a sense of warmth and nostalgia. The main attraction of ‘Retrace-23’ was the SILVER JUBILEE OF 1996 Batch. On this auspicious occasion, a cake cutting ceremony was organised wherein 10 founding alumnus of PGDM 1996 batch joined the celebrations in the presence of Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust; Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; and Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor. The event was also attended by Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, SRMS CET, Bareilly; Dr LS Maurya, Principal, SRMS CETR; Dr Anuj Kumar, Alumni—MBA, PGDM as well as President of Alumni Association, along with heads of various departments, faculty members and students.

Reconnecting with Old Friends

The alumni meet offered a wonderful opportunity for former classmates to reconnect after years of separation. Joyful laughter and heartfelt conversations filled the air as friends shared stories, relived shared experiences, and caught up on each other’s lives. The bonds forged during their time at SRMS Institutions, Bareilly & Lucknow were rekindled, reminding everyone of the strong camaraderie that existed within the institution.

Career Guidance and Networking

One of the key objectives of Retrace -23 was to facilitate career guidance and networking opportunities for the alumni. The event provided a conducive environment for alumni to explore potential job opportunities, seek guidance on career advancement, and establish professional connections that could benefit their future endeavors.

Cultural Performances and Entertainment

To add a touch of vibrancy and entertainment to the event, Retrace -23 featured captivating cultural performances including singing, dancing and poetry by current students and renowned artists of SRMS Riddhima, showcasing the rich artistic talent nurtured at SRMS Institutions, Bareilly. This was followed by a journey video capturing the milestones and memorable moments evoking nostalgia and a sense of pride among the attendees. The alumni cheered, applauded, and relished the opportunity to witness the creative excellence that continued to flourish in their Alma Mater. The experiences and stories shared by the alumni were a testament to the transformative power of education and the nurturing environment at SRMS.

However, Retrace -23 at SRMS Institutions, Bareilly & SRMS IBS, Lucknow, served as a delightful trip down memory lane for the former students. The event successfully strengthened the alumni network, fostering a sense of belonging and pride in the institution and its commitment to lifelong learning and holistic development.
