Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria

(As per rules the of BAR Council of India, Rule 7 of legal Education 2008) Candidate must have passed 10+2 (in any stream) not below 45% of total marks for GENERAL category candidates, and not below 40% of total marks for SC/ST category candidates. Provided that such a minimum qualifying marks shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission into an institution but only shall entitle the person concerned to fulfill other institutional criteria notified by the institution concerned or by the Government concerned from time to time to apply for admission.

Admission Procedure

For B.A. LL.B & LL.B: Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Law is affiliated to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University (MJPRU), Bareilly. Therefore, candidates seeking admission in Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of law must register themselves with University through online portal (www.mjpru.ac.in) for:

B.A. LL.B (5 years integrated)http://mjpruonline.in/Registration/UG_PreInfo.aspx

After the registration at www.mjpru.ac.in candidates have to register themselves at SRMS college of Law (at college campus). For registration at SRMS college of Law candidates have to bring original and photocopies of:

  • Print out of MJP Rohilkhand University registration form
  • Mark sheets and certificates of 10th, 12th & Graduation.
  • Aadhaar card.
  • Recent passport size photographs (5)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Rs. 5000/- cash as registration charges

For registration at SRMS College of Law candidates can also send photocopies of following documents by registered post at college campus: Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Law Ram Murti Puram 13 Km Bareilly-Nainital road, Bareilly 243002

  • Print Out of MJP Rohilkhand University registration form

  • Demand Draft of Rs. 5000/- as registration charges in favour of SRMS COLLEGE OF LAW payable at Bareilly
