In honor of teachers' vital role in shaping the future of education, SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), Bareilly, celebrated World Teachers' Day with the theme ‘Empowering Educators for a Sustainable Future.’ The event featured an inter-college PowerPoint presentation competition with participation from SRMS Trust institutions, including SRMS IMS, CET, CETR & IPS. Focused on Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), the competition aimed to recognize the transformative power of education in creating a brighter future for tomorrow's leaders.
The day began with a warm welcome to Chief Guest Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal of IPS, followed by an opening address by MOC’s Himani & Khushi. During the competition, participants captivated the audience with dynamic visuals and presentations on diverse topics, including a sustainable future, holistic learning, and revolutionary technological solutions in education. Their engaging discussions and presentations maintained high levels of excitement and interest.
Later, Dr Jaspreet Kaur, along with competition judges Dr LS Maurya, HOD, Department of Computer Science, CET; Dr Saurabh Gupta, DSW, CET; and Dr Hina Siddiqui, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, IPS, awarded certificates & trophies to the winners. Sneha Harariya & Vidhi Singh from CETR claimed first prize; Anusha Rao & Asbah Rehman from CET took second place, and Abhay Singh & Diya Mittal from IPS secured third place.
