SRMS PARAMEDICAL STUDENTS SHOWCASE TALENT IN FUN-FILLED MEHENDI COMPETITION!

Students at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMS IPS), Bareilly in association with Vibrant Club recently participated in an engaging Mehendi competition —as a part of their extra-curricular activity in Zero-Hour, showcasing their exceptional talent & creativity. The event aw students indulging in intricate henna designs, each reflecting their unique styles and skills.

From traditional patterns to modern motifs, the students displayed a diverse range of designs, captivating the faculty & students alike with their artistic flair. The competition not only provided a platform for students to exhibit their talents, but also fostered a sense of camaraderie &enjoyment among participants.

Amidst laughter and excitement, students bonded over their shared passion for Mehendi art. The event was mentored and adjudged by Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal, SRMS IPS; Akriti Sharma, Faculty of Optometry & Ankita, Faculty of RIT, in the presence of Dr Shivank Chaudhary (PT), Dean Student Welfare. The winners of the Mehendi competition were Champa & Anshika from BRIT 2023, whereas second & third positions were fetched by Ziya & Namita from BPT 2023, and Sonal & Akansha from BOPTOM 2020 and 2021 respectively.

Speaking about it, Dr Jaspreet Kaur said, “Non-academic pursuits always help in improving mental & physical health by reducing stress, improving mood, and increasing energy levels. However, such initiatives not only enrich the cultural fabric of the institute, but also nurture the creative spirit & talents of students. Kudos to all the participants for their outstanding performances and for making the event a grand success.”
